Last updated September 1, 2026. This page describes what the assessment actually does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet, and it is not a final policy.

What we collect

Two things: the answers you type into the twenty-one question assessment about how your business runs, and your email address. We do not ask for payment details, we do not ask for photos, and there is no account beyond the email itself.

Who processes it

Lemonade Stand is run by Player Piano AI, in Toronto. Your answers are sent to Anthropic to generate the written parts of your report. If you give us your website, we read its public pages to understand your business. Everything is stored in Supabase, which is also where any account or confirmation email comes from.

When you give us your email, that address and the basics of your business (its name, industry, region, team size, how long it has been running, and roughly how many enquiries it gets) are recorded in Player Piano AI's own system as an enquiry. Asking for the assessment is what makes that lawful under Canada's anti-spam law: it is implied consent, it is recorded as such, and it expires. It does not put you on a mailing list, and you will get no marketing from it unless you opt in separately.

When your assessment completes, your answers, your report, and the exchange with the model that wrote it (what we sent it and what it sent back) are copied to that same system as part of the enquiry record, and we also write ourselves an internal note about the enquiry. This happens whatever the result was, including when the report says you can do it yourself or that it is too early. A person at Player Piano AI may read them. If the report says some of the work needs a build, that is what gets read before any call you choose to book. Your report page itself stays here.

Your report is a public link

When your assessment finishes, it gets a report page at an address like /assessment/ followed by a fourteen character code. That code is hard to guess, but the page does not require a login. Anyone who has the link can open it. Do not share the link anywhere you would not want the report seen, and treat it the way you would treat a document sent as an attachment.

We hold no data on anyone else

The report never compares your business to other businesses. There is no score, no grade, and no percentile, because we have no data about other businesses to compare you against. Every number in your report comes from what you typed in.

How long we keep it, and how to remove it

Right now we keep your assessment until you ask us to delete it. Email hello@lemonade-stand.app and we will remove your answers and take down the report link.
